ERECTING SOCCER NETS
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO REVIEW THESE SIMPLE STEPS
1. Locate Velcro straps to identify top of net.
2. Hang both ends of net over each end of corner posts where coloured side rope attaches to top of net. USE LADDER PROVIDED.
3. Attach Velcro straps to crossbar ensuring there are no loops big enough for the ball to slip through.
4. Attach 4 Velcro straps to each post.
5. You will need 9 tent pegs. When securing pegs to net place a couple of twists of net to peg.
6. Fix pegs at base of each post first within 10cm of post.
7. Stretch out and fix pegs in each net corner. Hammer at 45 degree angle to avoid rocks.
8. Fix peg to middle back of net fully stretching to capacity. Fix a peg either side of this middle peg halfway to corner.
9. Fix pegs on each end of net halfway between post and corner peg. Ensure net is pulled down tight and bunched under pegs if necessary.
There should be no spaces where the ball can pass through the net at top bottom or sides.
Flags to be placed in field corners and halfway flags should be set a metre back from the sideline.
